Increasing prices in some of Sofia hotels

Sofia is third in the world in growth of prices of hotels in the third quarter, a survey among 68 000 hotels 12 500 destinations. Prices of accommodation in the Bulgarian capital is on the fifty-fourth among the 67 leading cities. After our stay in the top Chinese capital Beijing with 91 euros per night, Hungary - Budapest with 88 euros, the French port city of Marseille, where prices are on average 87 euros, 86 euros in Bilbao, Prague and Kuala Lumpur with 84 euros, Shanghai - € 81, € 79 with Tallinn.

In the bottom of the list are 76 euros in Riga, Vilnius with 75 euros and Las Vegas with 74 euros. In the last three destinations observed decrease in the prices of hotels.

In the top three price collapse - except Las Vegas, and Edinburgh are the Icelandic capital Reykjavik on 20 percent, and St. Petersburg - with 18 percent. Significantly decreased overnight stays registered in London, where the survey reported a fall of 13%.

The most expensive hotels in the world during the third quarter remained in Moscow with an average price of 259 euros a night. Russian capital is followed by the European Center of the Monte Carlo casino with 237 euros and New York with 219 euros.

Overall average price of hotels in Europe has registered a minimum increase of 2 percent in the third quarter on an annual basis in North America has decreased by 5 percent and in Asia has remained unchanged.

In a study of Swiss bank UBS in June this year, Sofia was ranked 55 th place in a general dearth of 77 cities, most of European capitals. According to the UBS most expensive city in the world is London, the cheapest and Kuala Lumpur.
 
For purposes of comparison, New York has a value of 100 points. Sofia has a value of 52.8 points, which means that in the Bulgarian capital is nearly 50 percent more cheaply to New York.
